Doctrinal Heritage Audio Archive Pastor Glenn A. Carnagey, Sr.
Dr. Glenn Carnagey received his ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1969,
the recipient of the highly prestigious Rollin Thomas Chafer Award in Apologetics.
Glenn was ordained to the ministry on May 25, 1965 by Pastor Robert B. Thieme, Jr.
in Berachah Church, Houston, Texas.
Glenn's pastorates included Grace Bible Church, Muskogee, OK, 1968-1972; Patrian
Church, Tulsa, OK, 1970-1989; South Tulsa Bible Church, Tulsa, OK 1990-1991; and
Grace Bible Church, Golden Valley, MN, 1993-1996.
After suffering two strokes, Glenn accepted the Lord's final work-assignment for
his life. He and his wife Nan moved to Texas and became a part of Austin Bible
Church where his sons and grandchildren were. Although he would never again
pastor a church, Glenn was blessed to live out his days teaching Sunday School
to his grandchildren and the other young people of ABC. Glenn was also a great
encouragement to ABC's young pastor and demonstrated the character of Christ in
every way.
The Lord Jesus Christ summoned Glenn Carnagey to His right hand on April 24, 2003.
